(men’s mode announcement — August 1, notification form below)
Since early summer, MoodBoss has helped women plan their days based on their cycle.
On August 1, the men’s mode launches — the app will recalculate indexes three times a day and tell you when your energy is at its peak and when it’s best to slow down.
Daily “hormone curve”
| Time | Testosterone | Cortisol | Overall energy |
|---|---|---|---|
| 06:00 | ▲ maximum | ▲ high | Kickstart boost |
| 14:00 | ▽ medium | ▽ low | Productive midday |
| 22:00 | ▽ minimum | ▽ minimum | Winding down |
- Testosterone peaks between 5:00 and 8:00 AM — you feel strength, motivation, confidence.
- Cortisol is also high in the morning, helping you wake up, then gradually drops.
- MoodBoss tracks this duet-curve: in the morning, Joy and Interest are usually higher; by evening, Calm increases, while Anxiety and Anger are more likely to spike if you lack sleep or consume too much caffeine.
Three typical scenarios:
1. Office: “Start with the most important”
8:00 — Calm 55%, Joy 60%, Stress index 38%
Morning “window” — the best time for complex analytics, presentations, negotiations.
MoodBoss tip: Schedule key tasks before noon, while your hormone charge is high.
2. Sports: “train by midday”
14:00 — Interest 65%, Anger 30%, Stress index 42%
Testosterone has already dropped, but cortisol is almost at zero — muscles are ready to work without excess “stress waste.”
Tip: Strength training or interval running in the afternoon gives greater gains and a lower risk of injury.
3. Evening: “slow it down”
22:00 — Calm 75%, Joy 40%, Stress index 48%
The body shifts to recovery mode.
Tip: Avoid difficult conversations and caffeine, spend two hours without bright lights — Calm will rise another ten points, and your sleep will be deeper.
Why three measurements, not one?
- For women, the key is a 28-day cycle → once-a-day calculation.
- For men, the circadian rhythm dominates: morning — rise, day — plateau, evening — decline.
- That’s why MoodBoss automatically updates results at 6:00, 14:00, and 22:00 (your time zone). The “Update Now” button remains, but these three points give the most accurate scientific picture.
What men will get on August 1:
- Three forecasts a day: morning, afternoon, evening.
- Stress index + six emotions (Joy, Interest, Calm, Anxiety, Sadness, Anger).
- Short tips for work, sports, and rest.
- Couple mode: two sets of indexes side by side for planning without arguments.
